Logo Design

Journey House is a Milwaukee based organization established to empower families to move out of poverty through adult education, youth development, workforce readiness, and family engagement.

Dionna L. Hayden was hired to redesign the original organization logo, which subsequently made way to revamp the rest of the visual brand for a more cohesive look for all Journey House materials. The redesign was a process of taking the existing idea of the old logo and enhancing it to further paint the visual picture of what Journey House does for the community.

The enclosed circle has a path that leads to home. The people chain inside visually communicates the theme of family and “togetherness”. The simplicity of the elements makes the logo extremely applicable to a wide range of media large and small such as stationary, invitations, reports, billboards, apparel, awards, lapel pins, etc.
